BHEL's order book up over 27% on year at INR 2.6 trillion in Apr-Jun

NEW DELHI – Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. Thursday said its order book was INR 2.60 trillion in the June quarter, up over 27% on year. The company's order book was INR 2.04 trillion in the same period a year ago. 

 

The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation was INR 7.35 billion for the June quarter, as against an EBITDA loss of INR 3.52 billion in the year-ago period. 

 

For the June quarter, the company reported a net profit of INR 3.82 billion, compared with a net loss of INR 4.55 billion a year ago. BHEL's revenue rose over 40% on year to INR 76.98 billion for the June quarter. Thursday, shares of the company closed 4.2% higher at INR 435.40 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
