Wipro’s Apr-Jun net profit slips 4% QoQ to INR 33.52 billion, misses Street view

MUMBAI - Wipro Ltd. reported a consolidated net profit of INR 33.52 billion for the June quarter, down a little over 4% on quarter. The information technology services major’s profit also missed analysts’ consensus estimate of INR 34.32 billion. The company’s consolidated revenue for the quarter was up 1% on quarter at INR 244.79 billion. Wipro said it will pay an interim dividend of INR 2 per share with Jul. 27 set as the record date.
