--ITI gets order from BSNL to expand 4G mobile network in west India
MUMBAI – ITI Ltd. has received an order worth INR 8.56 billion for expansion of the 4G mobile network in west India from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. This includes planning, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the mobile network on a turnkey basis for 7,613 sites, ITI said Thursday in a filing with the bourses.
ITI, along with TCS as a consortium partner, had executed a turnkey project worth INR 26.40 billion for provisioning a 4G mobile network under phase IX.2, for BSNL west zone states such as Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh.
At 1239 IST, shares of ITI traded 1% higher at INR 287.30 on the National Stock Exchange. For the March quarter, the company had reported a net profit of INR 3.75 billion on revenues of INR 6.28 billion. End
