PDS, Busana Apparel of Indonesia tie up for global apparel manufacture

AHMEDABAD - PDS Ltd. and Busana Apparel Group of Indonesia have announced a strategic partnership to build the next generation of global apparel manufacturing, PDS said in a filing with the stock exchanges Tuesday. Both companies will together pursue new opportunities with global brands and retailers seeking to diversify their sourcing footprint, leveraging each other's capabilities across manufacturing excellence, product innovation, design, and customer engagement, it said.
Tuesday, shares of PDS ended at INR 382.25 on the National Stock Exchange, up over 6%. For the March quarter, the company had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 490.49 million on revenues of INR 35.19 billion. End
