--KEC Intl gets orders worth INR 11.80 bln across segments
MUMBAI – KEC International Ltd. has secured new orders worth INR 11.80 billion across several businesses, it said late Tuesday in a filing with bourses. This includes an order for a 400 kilovolt transmission line project in west India to power a data centre.
Including this, the company's year-to-date order intake was over INR 52 billion, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Vimal Kejriwal said in the release. The company will supply transmission line towers in West Asia and towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas, as per the filing.
The order also includes an over-200 megawatt solar photovoltaic project in west India from an existing client. The company also received an order for additional civil and structural works for a 150 megawatt thermal power plant from a prominent private player in east India and various orders for cables and conductors in India and overseas, it said.
