MUMBAI – NSE Indices Ltd. Monday said it will revise the eligibility criteria to include real estate investment trusts as equity-related instruments in the Nifty equity indices. This revision by the company's index maintenance subcommittee aims to enhance participation by mutual funds and specialised investment funds in REITs, according to a press release. The changes will be applicable from the upcoming scheduled reconstitution of the Nifty equity indices. End
