MUMBAI – Adani Green Energy Ltd.'s sale of energy rose 30% on year to 13.66 billion units during the June quarter. This was led by a strong rise in sales across segments of hybrid, wind, and solar.
The company sold 7.65 billion units of solar energy in the June quarter, 20% more than the same period last year. It sold nearly 52% more units of hybrid energy at 3.49 billion units during the quarter and nearly 40% more units of wind energy at 2.52 billion units.
The company's operational capacity stood at 20.14 gigawatt at the end of the June quarter, up 27% on year. A major part of this increase was due to the 2.66 GW solar power capacity added in Khavda, Gujarat.
For the quarter ended March, the company's consolidated net profit was INR 3.97 billion on revenue of INR 35.02 billion. On Friday, shares of the company closed at INR 1,536.60 on the National Stock Exchange, up 3.4% from Thursday. End
