InterGlobe gets DGCA warning on cargo spillage, breach of operating procedure

MUMBAI – InterGlobe Aviation Ltd., which operates budget carrier IndiGo, received a warning letter from the Directorate General of Civil Association on Wednesday, related to spillage of cargo in January and for deviating from standard operating procedures, the company said Friday in an exchange filing.
The letter relates to spillage of cargo detected on the ground after the arrival of the flight, reported in January, and the subsequent audit findings regarding deviations from standard operations procedures with certain provisions under the Aircraft (Carriage of Dangerous Goods) Rules, 2026, as per the filing. InterGlobe will submit an action taken report on the corrective actions.
On Friday, shares of InterGlobe Aviation closed 1.6% higher at INR 5,312 on the National Stock Exchange. For the March quarter, the company reported a net loss of INR 26.62 billion on revenues of INR 224.38 billion. End
