NEW DELHI – JSW Infrastructure Ltd. Friday said it has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary, JSW Kolkata Outer Harbour Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd., to execute the integrated development of the outer container terminal and berths 1-5 at Netaji Subhash Dock under the Kolkata Dock System. JSW Infrastructure has incorporated the wholly-owned subsidiary by subscribing to 10,000 equity shares of INR 10 each for a cash consideration of INR 100,000.
 

The newly incorporated entity will serve as a special purpose vehicle to enter into the concession agreement with the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority, Kolkata, as required under the letter of award awarded to JSW Infrastructure for the project. The project will be developed on a design-build finance operate transfer basis under the public-private partnership model, the company said in the exchange filing. The special purpose vehicle has been formed to meet the requirements of the project agreement and carry out the obligations under the concession agreement.

For the March quarter, JSW Infrastructure reported a consolidated net profit of INR 4.2 billion on consolidated revenues of INR 15.2 billion. Friday, shares of the company ended at INR 330.05 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.9%.  End
