ICRA assigns 'AA+' rating to Adani Energy's NCDs with stable outlook

MUMBAI – ICRA Ltd. Wednesday assigned an 'AA+' rating to Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.'s non-convertible debentures with a stable outlook, the listed entity informed exchanges Thursday. The rating is assigned to both outstanding bonds worth INR 2.75 billion and a proposed issuance of INR 11.25 billion.
The ratings agency also assigned outstanding non-fund based working capital a long-term rating of 'AA+' with a stable outlook and a short-term rating of 'A1+' for a facility of INR 6.85 billion. A proposed short-term working capital facility for INR 3.50 billion was assigned a rating of 'A1+'.
ICRA also reaffirmed and assigned an 'AA+' long-term rating on Adani Energy's fund- and non-fund based limits with a stable outlook as the facility was enhanced to INR 101.15 billion. The short-term rating was assigned at 'A1+'. The power producer's commercial paper worth INR 10 billion was reaffirmed at 'A1+', the filing said.
For the March quarter, Adani Green had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 3.97 billion on revenues of INR 35.02 billion. At 1325 IST, the company's shares were marginally lower at INR 1,655.00 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. End
