MUMBAI – Honasa Consumer Ltd. on Thursday informed exchanges that it expects to deliver strong on-year growth in sales of around "thirties" and report a double-digit operating margin for the June quarter. On a reported basis, the company is expected to post a sales growth of mid-twenties on a year-on-year basis for the quarter.

Its largest brand, Mamaearth, accelerated its growth momentum and is expected to deliver a growth of high-teens during the quarter led by increasing "consumer affection", along with strong offline distribution. Its younger brands such as The Derma Co., Aqualogica, BBlunt, Dr. Sheth's, Staze, Lumineve and Reginald Men, continued their strong growth momentum and are expected to deliver growth in early forties.

The company's offline channel continued to be a key growth driver. The general trade and modern trade are expected to sustain strong growth momentum, aided by improving direct distribution reach in general trade and strong in-store execution across both channels. The company's online channel is also expected to deliver healthy growth over the quarter.

For the March quarter, the company had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 691.93 million on revenues of INR 6.57 billion. At 1008 IST, the company's stock was at INR 468.45 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.2%.  End
