Bayer CropScience promoter sells entire 12% stake to parent Bayer AG

MUMBAI – Bayer CropScience's promoter Bayer CropScience AG sold its entire stake of 11.91% in the company to parent company Bayer AG through a block deal on the National Stock Exchange for a total value of INR 22.10 billion. The deal was executed at INR 4,122.30 per share. With this, Bayer AG's stake in the company has risen to 20.34% from 8.43% at the end of the March quarter.
On Wednesday, shares of the Bayer CropScience ended at INR 4,163.50 on the NSE, up 1% from Tuesday. For the March quarter, the company had reported a net profit of INR 1.62 billion on revenue of INR 11.01 billion. End
