--IRB Infra Jun gross toll collection up 28% on year
MUMBAI – IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. said its toll collections for June were up 28% on year at INR 8.08 billion. The toll collected by the company's wholly-owned subsidiary on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and Old Mumbai-Pune Highway was the highest at INR 1.67 billion in June, up almost 13% on year.
The toll collected by its arm on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway and Highway was up over 21% on year at INR 761 million, registering the highest on-year growth. The company's infrastructure trust IRB Harihara Corridors Tollway Pvt. Ltd. collected a toll of INR 560 million on the operational Lucknow-Ayodhya-Gorakhpur and Lucknow-Sultanpur highways in Uttar Pradesh. Similarly, the company collected INR 217 million from the Chandikhole-Bhadrak highway in Odisha and INR 135 million from the Ganga Expressway in UP.
Wednesday, shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers closed 2.5% lower at INR 19.97 on the National Stock Exchange. For the March quarter, the company reported a net profit of INR 2.96 billion on revenue of INR 19.27 billion. End
