MUMBAI – TVS Motor Co. Ltd. Wednesday said it will deliver TVS King Kargo HD vehicles to Indian Oil Corp. Ltd.'s distributors to use for doorstep delivery of liquefied petroleum gas under a memorandum of understanding between the companies. The partnership combines TVS Motor's expertise in commercial mobility with Indian Oil's extensive distributor network to advance efficient and sustainable LPG cylinder distribution across India, the company said in an exchange filing.

TVS Motor expects the deployment of the TVS King Kargo HD vehicles to reduce carbon emissions while offering Indian Oil distributors lower total cost of ownership. The initiative is designed to improve operational efficiency and profitability, the company said.

For the quarter ended March, TVS Motor had reported a net profit of INR 9.98 billion on revenues of INR 128.08 billion. Indian Oil had reported a net profit of INR 113.78 billion on revenues of INR 2.33 trillion. Wednesday, shares of TVS Motor ended at INR 3,639.70 on the National Stock Exchange, down nearly 2% from Tuesday. Shares of Indian Oil ended at INR 137.63, down over 3%.  End
