MUMBAI – FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd. said Sunday that its June quarter is expected to be one of the strongest, with growth in its consolidated gross merchandise value and net sales value in the early thirties, while net revenue growth is expected to rise close to the thirties. Strong performance in the fashion vertical, coupled with steady growth in the beauty vertical, contributed to the company's growth during Apr-Jun, FSN E-Commerce said in an exchange filing.
Growth in the beauty and personal care division's net sales value and net revenues in the June quarter is likely to be in the late twenties, with net revenue growth marginally trailing net sales value growth, the company said. Nykaa had 324 physical retail stores as of Jun. 30, according to the filing. Growth in the retail segment was driven by mid-teens like-for-like sales growth and store expansion. "House of Nykaa continued to demonstrate rapid growth, anchored by the consistent success of Kay Beauty, Nykaa Cosmetics and Dot & Key," the company said.
Growth in the company's fashion vertical is seen in the mid-fifties, the company said. Brand assortment and marketing investments led to more customer acquisition, the company said. "The Nike partnership has delivered encouraging early results," according to the company. The division's net revenue growth is expected to rise close to the fifties, FSN E-Commerce said.
For the March quarter, FSN E-Commerce reported a consolidated net profit of INR 783.80 million on revenues of INR 26.48 billion. During the quarter, its beauty and fashion divisions posted sales of INR 24.10 billion and INR 2.25 billion, respectively. At 0915 IST, the company's shares were 1.6% higher at INR 315.15 on the National Stock Exchange. End
