HDFC Mutual Fund sells 2.0% stake in Redington; shareholding now at 7.3%

NEW DELHI – HDFC Mutual Fund has reduced its stake in Redington Ltd. by 2.016% through open market transactions, bringing its holding down to 7.258% from 9.274?rlier, Redington said in an exchange filing on Friday. The mutual fund sold 15.76 million shares of Redington as of Wednesday. Consequently, HDFC Mutual Fund's holding in Redington declined to 56.74 million shares from 72.51 million shares.
For the March quarter, Redington had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 3.91 billion on revenues of INR 332.13 billion. Friday, the company's shares ended at INR 275 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.7% from the previous close. End
