--L&T Fin: Retail loan book INR 1.27 tln as of Jun 30, up 28% on year
MUMBAI – L&T Finance Ltd.'s retail loan book stood at an estimated INR 1.27 trillion as of Jun. 30, the company informed the exchanges Friday. The loan book grew 28% on year from INR 998.16 billion a year ago.
Its retail disbursements stood at an estimated INR 238 billion, a growth of 36% from the year-ago period. The urban finance segment constituted the largest share of retail disbursements at INR 107.60 billion as of Jun. 30. The acquired portfolio segment registered the sharpest rise among retail disbursements. It rose over 206% to INR 1.5 billion from INR 490 million in the year-ago period.
For the March quarter, L&T Finance had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 8.07 billion on revenue of INR 47.71 billion. Friday, its shares closed at INR 327 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, up nearly 4% from Thursday's close. End
