The YES Bank arm has "undertaken the requisite corrective actions and immediate steps thereby demonstrating a constructive and cooperative approach in addressing compliance issues and has engaged proactively with NSE in the verification process," the filing said. The company, in an order dated May 26, was prohibited as a trading member from onboarding any new clients for three months, and had received a penalty aggregating to INR 200,000.

The broking firm had passed on penalty pertaining to upfront or peak margin to clients, the filing had said.
