NEW DELHI – Canara Bank's global advances rose 18% on year to INR 12.93 trillion as of Jun. 30, the bank said in an exchange filing on Wednesday. The bank's global deposits rose almost 12% on year to INR 16.13 trillion as on Jun. 30.
The state-owned bank's global business grew 14.4% on year to INR 29.06 trillion as of Jun. 30. Domestic advances grew nearly 17% on year to INR 12.07 trillion while domestic deposits rose over 10% on year to INR 14.73 trillion as on Tuesday.
For the March quarter, Canara Bank had reported net profit of INR 45.06 billion and total income of INR 366.62 billion. Wednesday, shares of the lender ended 0.6% higher at INR 126.28 on the National Stock Exchange. End
