UPI transactions in Jun at INR 28.92 tln, up 20% YoY; volume at 22.72 bln

MUMBAI – The amount involved in Unified Payments Interface transactions in June was INR 28.92 trillion, up 20% on year, according to data released by the National Payments Corp. of India Wednesday. In volume terms, UPI transactions grew 23% on year to 22.72 billion in June. In May, UPI transactions aggregated to INR 29.90 trillion, with a volume of 23.20 billion.
The average daily transaction count was at 757 million in June, up from 748 million in May. The average daily transaction amount was INR 964.05 billion in June, against INR 964.65 billion in May. End
