--PNB raises MCLR by 5 bps across tenures effective Wed
NEW DELHI – Punjab National Bank raised its marginal cost of funds-based lending rates by 5 basis points across tenures, the lender informed exchanges. The new rates will be effective from Wednesday.
The Reserve Bank of India's norms require banks to review their MCLR monthly. The public sector bank kept its repo-linked lending rate of 8.10% and its base rate of 9.50% unchanged.
For the March quarter, the bank had reported net profit of INR 52.25 billion on total income of INR 363.19 billion. Tuesday, shares of the lender closed at INR 106.69 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.3%.
Punjab National Bank's marginal cost of funds-based lending rates for various tenures are as follows:
