L&T Tech launches engineering intelligence platform Ainfonix 4.0

NEW DELHI – L&T Technology Services Ltd. Tuesday announced the launch of Ainfonix 4.0, touted as a next-generation engineering intelligence platform for process industries. Developed in the company's sustainability segment, the platform transforms engineering artifacts and multi-modal data into structured, asset-linked information that can be governed, searched, and reused across the enterprise for faster and better decision-making, L&T Technology Services said in a press release.
The platform combines artificial intelligence-powered extraction, engineering intelligence, and human-in-the-loop validation to improve data quality, strengthen traceability, and create a trusted foundation for engineering execution, operational visibility, and lifecycle performance, as per the company. In early deployments, Ainfonix has delivered up to 85% accuracy in technical data extraction, 30-50% faster artifact retrieval and review, and 100% audit-ready traceability, as per the release.
"While enterprises invest heavily in digitisation, much of the engineering knowledge remains locked within disconnected engineering systems. Ainfonix 4.0 helps bridge that gap by transforming engineering information into structured, asset-linked intelligence that can be used across the asset lifecycle, from engineering and project execution to operations and maintenance," Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Amit Chadha was quoted as saying in the release.
For the March quarter, L&T Technology Services had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 3.32 billion on revenues of INR 28.58 billion. Tuesday, its shares ended at INR 3,139.80 on the National Stock Exchange, up marginally from Monday. End
