--Bandhan Bank CFO Rajeev Mantri resigns; to step down Sept 25

 

NEW DELHI – Bandhan Bank Chief Financial Officer Rajeev Mantri resigned Monday to pursue another career opportunity, the bank informed exchanges in a filing. Mantri will serve a notice period of 90 days, and his last working day as a key managerial personnel would be Sept. 25, it said in the filing. He has been serving as Bandhan Bank's chief financial officer since February 2024.

 

He is the second private-sector bank finance chief to step down Monday, after Axis Bank's Puneet Sharma tendered his resignation earlier in the day. Both Mantri and Sharma cited other opportunities for their decision.

 

For the March quarter, Bandhan Bank had reported a net profit of INR 5.34 billion on a total income of INR 61.99 billion. Monday, shares of the Kolkata-based lender ended at INR 202.33 on the National Stock Exchange, up slightly from Thursday. The stock market was shut Friday for Muharram.  End
