MUMBAI – Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. Saturday said Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ashok Vaswani has informed the board that he does not wish to seek reappointment upon completion of his term on Dec. 31. Respecting his decision, the board has initiated the process of finding a successor to Vaswani, the lender informed the exchanges.
For the March quarter, Kotak Mahindra Bank had reported a net profit of INR 40.27 billion and total income of INR 172.91 billion. Thursday, its shares ended at INR 409 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.8% from Wednesday. Friday, the stock market was shut for Muharram. End
