--Godrej Industries invests INR 3.70 bln in arm Godrej Investment
NEW DELHI – Godrej Industries Ltd. Thursday said it has made an additional equity investment of about INR 3.70 billion in its wholly owned subsidiary, Godrej Investment Ltd. The investment was made in cash, the company said in an exchange filing.
Godrej Investment, incorporated on Jan. 5, is an unregistered core investment company that holds equity shares of Godrej Capital Ltd. and Godrej Wealth & Asset Management Ltd.
For the March quarter, Godrej Industries reported consolidated net profit of INR 4.44 billion on revenues of INR 76.94 billion. Thursday, the company's shares ended 0.7% higher at INR 1,160.70 on the National Stock Exchange. End
