NEW DELHI – Eli Lilly and Co. India Pvt. Ltd. has launched a cancer drug Tanstrive after receiving marketing authorisation from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation. The company has priced the drug at INR 215,000 per box, which will contain tablets for a 14-day treatment to be taken twice daily. It is available in 40 milligrams, 80 mg, 120 mg, and 160 mg strengths.  


The drug is used for patients with advanced or metastatic cancer. Tanstrive is the first selective rearranged during transfection inhibitor approved in India for treating rearranged during transfection-altered solid tumours, irrespective of tumour type, the company said.  End
