Infosys gets digital transformation contract from Sterling Bank of Asia

NEW DELHI – Infosys Ltd. has got a contract to modernise Sterling Bank of Asia's core banking operations. The bank has selected Infosys's Finacle software-as-a-service platform for a technology transformation programme.
Under the engagement, Sterling Bank of Asia will deploy Finacle core banking, customer data hub, trade finance, and origination solutions. "Through this strategic collaboration with Infosys Finacle, Sterling Bank expects to enhance the experience of both employees and customers, maintain high standards of availability and reliability in its banking services, and reduce operational complexity through automation and digitisation, thereby supporting its future growth," Infosys said in an exchange filing.
Thursday, shares of Infosys closed at INR 1,041.20 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.5% from Wednesday. For the March quarter, the company had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 85.01 billion on revenues of INR 464.02 billion. End
