Siemens Energy India promoters realign holding via inter-se share transfer

NEW DELHI – Siemens Energy Holding B.V. has acquired 14.18 million shares, or 3.98% stake, in Siemens Energy India Ltd. from promoter entity Siemens Aktiengesellschaft, Germany, through an off-market inter-se transfer. Following the transaction completed Tuesday, Siemens Energy Holding's stake in Siemens Energy India increased to 39.17 million shares, or 11%, from 24.99 million shares, or 7.02%.
The seller, Siemens AG, reduced its holding in the company to 40.23 million shares, or 11.3%, from 54.41 million shares, or 15.28%. The transaction was an inter-se transfer between promoter group entities executed through an off-market deal. Both the acquirer and the seller are promoters of Siemens Energy India, according to the company's exchange filing. The overall promoter holding in Siemens Energy India remained unchanged at 75?ter the transaction.
For the March quarter, Siemens Energy India had reported a net profit of INR 3.75 billion on revenues of INR 23.94 billion. AT 1401 IST, its shares were at INR 3,722 on the National Stock Exchange, down nearly 2% from Tuesday. End
