--Karur Vysya Bank to appoint CFO Ramshankar R as COO from Oct 16
NEW DELHI – Karur Vysya Bank will appoint Ramshankar R as chief operating officer, effective Oct. 16. Ramshankar, currently general manager and chief financial officer, will take over after incumbent chief operating officer M.S. Chandrasekaran completes his tenure on Oct. 15. Ramshankar will also continue to oversee the finance and control department.
In the same filing, the bank also announced several other promotions. Vippala Ramachandrareddy, currently deputy general manager and head of treasury, has been promoted to general manager and head of treasury, effective Tuesday, and is classified as senior management personnel of the bank.
For the March quarter, Karur Vysya Bank had reported consolidated net profit of INR 7.25 billion on total income of INR 35.19 billion. On Tuesday, shares of the bank ended at INR 294.55 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.4% from the previous close. End
