Syrma SGS to form JV with Kaga Electronics for electronic manufacturing svcs

NEW DELHI – Syrma SGS Technology Ltd. Monday said that it has partnered with Kaga Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. to set up a joint venture to develop and operate an electronic manufacturing services facility in India, focusing on Japanese clients. Syrma SGS Technology will have a 60% stake in the proposed joint venture, and Kaga Electronics will have a 40% stake, the company said in an exchange filing.
After the transaction, Syrma SGS Technology will subscribe to equity shares worth about INR 150 million and Kaga Electronics will subscribe to shares for about INR 100 million in the joint venture.
For the March quarter, Syrma SGS Technology's consolidated net profit was INR 1.01 billion on revenues of INR 14.65 billion. Monday, the company's shares closed 0.2% higher at INR 1,336.20 on the National Stock Exchange. End
