BSE arm Indian Clearing Corp changes name to BSE Clearing

MUMBAI – Indian Clearing Corp. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE Ltd., Thursday changed its name to BSE Clearing Ltd. Indian Clearing Corp. was incorporated in 2007 to serve as a clearing corporation for BSE to manage its collateral, risk, clearing, and settlement functions. It also acts as the central counterparty to ensure successful completion of all trades facilitated by it.
Thursday, shares of BSE closed slightly higher than Wednesday at INR 4,014.50 on the National Stock Exchange. For the March quarter, the company had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 7.97 billion on revenues of INR 15.64 billion. End
