NEW DELHI – TeamLease Services Ltd. Wednesday said its board of directors has approved Jul. 3 as the record date for the proposed buyback of 14,87,500 equity shares at a price of INR 1,600 per share through a tender offer.
On May. 20, the company said it would buy back 8.87% of its total equity shares at an offer price of INR 1,600 per share for an aggregate amount of INR 2.38 billion. The buyback was at a 13% premium to the closing price of the company on May. 20, TeamLease Services had said earlier. Shares of the company have risen 0.6% from the closing price of INR 1,412.6 on May 20.
For the March quarter, the company reported a net profit of INR 439.1 million on revenue of INR 29.25 billion. At 1322 IST, shares of TeamLease Services were up nearly 1% at INR 1,420 on the National Stock Exchange. End
