Welspun Living starts full commercial production at Nevada pillow facility

NEW DELHI – Welspun Living Ltd. Tuesday said its subsidiary company Welspun USA Inc. fully commenced commercial production at its pillow manufacturing facility in Nevada, US, on Monday, according to the US Pacific time zone. The facility was set up with a capital expenditure of $13 million to expand the company's product portfolio in the home textiles segment in the US. Welspun USA had commenced partial commercial production at the unit on Mar. 31.
For the March quarter, Welspun Living reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.04 billion on revenues of INR 24.35 billion. At IST 1316, shares of the company traded at INR 146.72 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.2%. End
