NEW DELHI – Bharat Forge Ltd.'s wholly-owned defence subsidiary Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd. Monday launched its line of mounted artillery guns -– the MArG series –- at Eurosatory 2026 defence exhibition in Paris. The MArG series comprises 4×4-mounted 155-millimetre artillery systems, engineered to give armed forces a single, common platform across three calibre configurations: MArG 39 (39 calibre), MArG 45 (45 calibre), and MArG 52 (52 calibre). 

According to the company, the truck-mounted artillery systems are designed for rapid deployment and "shoot-and-scoot" operations, enabling forces to fire and relocate quickly to avoid counter-battery attacks. The systems are capable of firing NATO-standard 155-mm ammunition, including precision-guided munitions. The MArG 39 variant weighs 22 tonnes, can carry 18 rounds of ammunition onboard, and is designed for operations in terrain-constrained environments such as mountainous regions and urban areas, the company said.
 

For the March quarter, Bharat Forge posted a net loss of INR 1.18 billion on revenue of INR 22.60 billion. At 1410 IST, shares of the company were up 3.7% at INR 2,017.80 on the National Stock Exchange.   End
