Global Health gets letter of intent from Haryana govt for new medical college

NEW DELHI – Global Health Ltd., which operates hospitals under the Medanta brand, Friday said it had received a letter of intent from the Medical Education and Research Department of the Government of Haryana for the establishment of a medical college with 150 Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery seats at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram.
For the March quarter, Global Health reported consolidated net profit of INR 1.44 billion on revenues of INR 11.59 billion. At IST 1350, shares of the company traded at INR 1,226.10 on the National Stock Exchange, marginally down. End
