--Hindustan Zinc signs MoU with Sulfozyme Agro 

NEW DELHI – Hindustan Zinc Ltd. Wednesday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sulfozyme Agro India Pvt. Ltd. under its Zinc Industrial Park initiative in Rajasthan. 

Under the agreement, Sulfozyme Agro will set up operations at the Zinc Industrial Park in Khankhala, Bhilwara district, Rajasthan, to process zinc-based materials into value-added products for industrial and downstream applications. Hindustan Zinc will provide raw material linkages and long-term ecosystem support for the proposed venture.

The Zinc Industrial Park, being developed with Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corp., is designed as a downstream manufacturing hub integrating raw material availability with value-added zinc production. The facility aims to attract zinc processors, micro, small, and medium enterprises, and downstream manufacturers by offering infrastructure and proximity to raw material supplies.  

For the March quarter, the company reported net profit of INR 49.97 billion on revenues of INR 134.88 billion. At IST 1155, shares of the company traded at INR 551.20 on the National Stock Exchange, down 2.2%.  End
