MUMBAI – Apar Industries Ltd.'s revenue from its cable business is expected to rise around 25% on year in 2026-27 (Apr-Mar), its Chairman and Managing Director Kushal Desai told Informist at the sidelines of an event. The 25% growth is similar to the growth reported by the company's cable business in FY26, when the segment's revenue had risen to INR 62 billion.
Desai expects strong growth for the cable business despite the uncertainties due to the US-Iran war. Disruption due to the war should last only for a short term, he said.
Among cables and wires, the company remains extremely bullish on the household wire product, Apar Anushakti, which uses electron beam technology. Desai expects the product to report revenue of INR 5.56 billion in FY27, growth of 39% from FY26.
For FY26, Apar Industries had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 9.8 billion on revenue of just over INR 229 billion. At 1525 IST, shares of the company traded at INR 13,599 on the National Stock Exchange, up over 2% from Monday. End
