--HCC gets INR 1.27 bln hydro project from Bhutan co Wangchhu Hydroelectric
NEW DELHI – Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd. Friday said it has received an INR-1.27-billion order from Bhutan-based Wangchhu Hydroelectric Power Ltd. for the construction of diversion tunnels, hydromechanical gates, and cofferdams for the Wangchhu Hydroelectric Project. The contract is scheduled to be completed within nine months, as mentioned in the Exchange filing.
Hindustan Construction Co.'s consolidated net profit for the March quarter declined 34.6% year-on-year to INR 589.4 million. Revenue from operations for the quarter declined 27.8% to INR 9.92 billion. At 1011 IST, shares of the company traded at INR 24.40 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.7%. End
