NBCC gets INR 832 mln worth of orders for housing, infra projects

NEW DELHI – State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd. Wednesday said it has secured three orders worth INR 832.4 million. Of these, the largest order of nearly INR 400 million is to build a residential building for Canara Bank in Borivali West, Mumbai.
Another order of over INR 377 million is from the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department of Odisha. NBCC has been tasked with expanding veterinary hospitals, polyclinics, diagnostic laboratories buildings and other offices across several districts of Odisha. The third order of over INR 55 million is to upgrade Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's bungalow at Janpath.
For the March quarter, NBCC reported a consolidated net profit of INR 2.41 billion on revenue of INR 45.60 billion. On Wednesday, shares of the company ended at INR 102.24 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.8%. End
