--Adani Energy appoints Ashok Jagetiya as CFO from Sunday 

--Kunjal Mehta resigns as Adani Energy CFO citing personal reasons 

 

MUMBAI – Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. Saturday said Kunjal Mehta has resigned as chief financial officer of the company for personal reasons. It also said Ashok Jagetiya has been appointed chief financial officer with effect from Sunday.

 

Jagetiya has been associated with the Adani Group since 2000 and has served in senior leadership positions across multiple group businesses, including AWL Agri Business Ltd., Adani Advisory LLP, and Adani Green Energy Ltd., according to the company's exchange filing. Prior to this, he was chief financial officer in Adani Green Energy and Adani Global Pte Ltd., Singapore.

 

On a consolidated basis for the March quarter, Adani Energy Solutions reported a net profit of INR 6.84 billion on revenues of INR 74.43 billion. Its shares ended at INR 1,513.30 on the National Stock Exchange Friday, down nearly 2% from Wednesday. The stock market was closed Thursday for Id-ul-Zuha (Bakri Id).  End
