MUMBAI – Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. Wednesday said it has increased the price for the share buyback to INR 1,260 per share from INR 1,150 per share announced earlier. The company has reduced the maximum number of shares proposed to be repurchased to 8.73 million from 9.57 million, according to an exchange filing, keeping the total size of the buyback unchanged at INR 11 billion.
For the March quarter, Zydus Lifesciences reported a consolidated net profit of INR 12.7 billion on revenue of INR 75.9 billion. Wednesday, its shares ended at INR 1,085.80 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.6% from Tuesday. End
