NTPC Green arm to start ops of 105 MW solar capacity in Khavda plant Thu

MUMBAI – NTPC Green Energy Ltd. Wednesday said its wholly-owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. will begin commercial operations of the eighth and final leg of 105 megawatt capacity of its 1.2 gigawatt Khavda-II solar photovoltaic project in Gujarat from Thursday. With this, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy group will rise to 10.45 gigawatts, the company said in an exchange filing.

 

For the March quarter, NTPC Green Energy reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.97 billion on a revenue of INR 9.13 billion. Wednesday, the company's shares closed at INR 104.33 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.3% from Tuesday.  End
