--Popular Vehicles CEO Raj Narayan resigns Fri with effect from Aug 21
NEW DELHI – Popular Vehicles and Services Ltd. Friday said its Chief Executive Officer Raj Narayan has tendered his resignation on Friday, and will step down on Aug. 21, to pursue a new career opportunity in a different industry. "I am extremely proud of the enriching exposure I have had here with the most memorable moment being the successful IPO journey," Narayan was quoted as saying in his resignation letter to the company, as per its exchange filing. The company has not disclosed if a new chief has been appointed.
For the December quarter, Popular Vehicles and Services had reported net profit of INR 6.72 million on revenues of INR 17.85 billion. Friday, its shares closed 0.7% lower at INR 107.12 on the National Stock Exchange. End
