MUMBAI – JSW Energy Ltd. expects its cumulative incremental capital expenditure to be INR 1.30 trillion between 2025–26 (Apr-Mar) and FY30, as it aims to have power generation capacity of 30 gigawatts by 2030. It is also progressing towards having 40 gigawatt-hours of energy storage by 2030, the company is said in an investor presentation.
On a pro forma basis, the JSW Group company eyes its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation in FY30 to be 2.7–3 times that witnessed in FY25. Its net debt-to-EBITDA ratio is projected to be five times at the end of FY30. The company's operational net debt-to-EBITDA stood at 5.2 times as on Mar. 31. JSW Energy has installed generation capacity worth 13.45 GW as of Mar. 31, and has 14.05 GW of power projects under construction. Meanwhile, the energy major has in its pipeline solar, thermal, and hybrid projects capable of generating 4.56 GW of power. The company's installed capacity is seen rising at a compounded annual rate of 20% till 2030.
For the March quarter, JSW Energy's consolidated net profit fell nearly 9% on year to INR 3.72 billion, while its revenue jumped over 41% on year to INR 44.99 billion. At 1219 IST, shares of the company were 0.1% lower at INR 532.40 on the National Stock Exchange. End
