MUMBAI – Intellect Design Arena Ltd. Tuesday said it has been signed up by Canadian company VantageOne Credit Union to revamp its lending operations. Intellect Design will use its open finance retail banking platform eMACH.ai and its digital lending platform PF Credit for the task, the companies said in a joint press release.

Adopting eMACH.ai will support a shift to an automated credit evaluation and recommendation engine from manual workflows. PF Credit enhances efficiency through automated document extraction from unstructured application data, the companies said. PF Credit also lowers the risk of non-performing assets by using artificial intelligence-driven risk assessments, contextual data analysis, and deviation management, according to the press release.

For the March quarter, on a consolidated basis, Intellect Design reported a net profit of INR 1.20 billion on revenues of INR 8.47 billion. Tuesday, its shares closed almost 5% lower from Monday at INR 723.55 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
