MUMBAI – MRF Ltd. Monday said two demands against the company for income tax adding up to INR 1.82 billion by the deputy commissioner of income tax, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, have been reduced to zero following successful appeals to the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal against disallowance of claims by the company. The demands were related to the assessment years 2015-16 (Apr-Mar) and 2016-17, the company said in an exchange filing.
