--RBI OKs Kotak Bank, arms to acquire up to 9.99% stake in AU Small Fin Bank
MUMBAI – The Reserve Bank of India has allowed Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. along with its subsidiaries, to acquire up to 9.99% of the total paid-up share capital in AU Small Finance Bank, the small finance bank informed exchanges Thursday. The approval granted by the central bank is subject to compliance with RBI's directions, along with other regulations and guidelines.
For the March quarter, AU Small Finance Bank reported consolidated net profit of INR 8.32 billion, up over 65% on year. At 1035 IST, shares of the company were trading marginally lower at INR 1,021.90 on the National Stock Exchange. End
