NEW DELHI – The Union Cabinet on Tuesday approved two semiconductor manufacturing projects under the India Semiconductor Mission. The two semiconductor projects will be set up in Gujarat with a cumulative investment of INR 39.36 billion and will generate employment for 2,230 skilled professionals, the government said in a release.
Crystal Matrix Ltd. will set up an integrated facility for compound semiconductor fabrication in Dholera, while Suchi Semicon Pvt. Ltd. will set up an outsourced semiconductor assembly and test facility in Surat for manufacturing discrete semiconductors. End
