The three projects covering 19 districts in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will increase the existing railway network by about 900 kilometres, the release said. The proposed multitracking project will increase rail connectivity to more than 4,000 villages. It will also improve rail connectivity to several prominent tourist destinations like Mahakaleshwar, Ranthambore National Park, Kuno National Park, Keoladeo National Park, Mathura, and Vrindavan.
