MUMBAI – Force Motors Ltd.'s overall sales volume fell over 4% on year to 3,113 units in April, hit by supply chain constraints and labour shortages across supply channels, the company said Tuesday in an exchange filing. Its sales in the domestic market fell nearly 5% on year to 3,053 units last month while exports rose over 33% to 60 units.
The company launched its New Force Traveller N Range Tuesday, production for which had started in April. "With this launch, Force Motors will transition entirely to the new range effective May 2026," the company said. Its sales volumes for April were also hit "temporarily" due to the ramp-up phase, it said.
Force Motors reported a net profit of INR 2.74 billion for the March quarter on revenues of INR 25.50 billion. Tuesday, the company's stock closed 2% lower at INR 18,963 on the National Stock Exchange. End
